Software Developer/Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Reporting to: TCM IT Manager
Primary Responsibilities/Job Description:
Become a key member on a highly skilled development team designing solutions that facilitate a high degree of automation and accuracy within the investment industry. The development environment consists of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, C# and SQL Server 2005. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, complex and fast paced environment that will allow one to continually develop and expand expertise in top to bottom application development. Flexibility, initiative, curiosity, responsiveness and innovative thinking are critical. Activities may include a wide variety of design, development, integration, testing and systems administration functions including but not limited to :
- Coordinating with users to ensure full understanding of business processes to insure accurate and efficient solutions
- Development and support of solutions for the investment professionals, middle office and accounting groups
- Development and support of reports for same groups of users
- Assisting in the administration of a Microsoft based technology infrastructure
- Assisting in any other needs or projects within the information technology areas
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of development experience required
- B.A./B.S. in Software Engineering or related field required
- C# and relational database development required
- Experience with Winform/ASP.net, DevExpress a plus
- Experience within the investment industry preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented and self motivated
- Team player, flexibility and willing to perform any task necessary to achieve common goal.
Salary:
