Senior Corporate Accountant
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Reporting to: TCM Corporate Controller
Primary Responsibilities/Job Description:
Become a key, trusted member of the corporate accounting team. While the position will have a number of defined responsibilities (see below), the nature of the Corporate Accounting function at TPG Credit continuously presents unique and often complex opportunities for creative thinking and analysis. The specific responsibilities of this role may include:
- Maintaining books and records for all corporate and upper tier entities, to include monthly close, reconciliations and analytics
- Leading the process to develop new General Ledger (MS Dynamics – Great Plains) functionality and business enterprise integration
- Performing daily cash management and bank account reconciliation
- Assisting in developing and maintaining a new Accounts Payable process
- Assisting with periodic management reporting to Partner group
- Assisting with Tax and Regulatory reporting and compliance
- Various other analysis and projects that may arise
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Team player and flexible, willing and able to perform any task necessary to achieve common goals
- Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance required
- 5+ years accounting experience in either a public accounting or corporate accounting role required
- Family office and/or partnership accounting experience preferred
- Financial Services background a plus
